God I hate doing this on DeviantArt but the people that are involved in this don't have accounts for this site and don't even know it exists so I feel like I can make a cry for help.

Has anybody had problems with their friend's doing heroin? How did you get them to stop?

I have a friend whose into it bad. I had an intervention before and her mom knows, but it just seems like her mom doesn't care that much.

The problem started a couple months ago when the intervention happened... I did things her way. She promised she would stop. She talked with her mom.. her mom even told her that she wants each of her paychecks so she can keep track of her money.

Well, now I come to find out that she's still doing it. Her mom told her to quit her job and to either join the Coast Guard or go to college full time. She has yet to decide.

However just today I come to find out that she hasn't quit.

I straight up told her I want nothing more to do with her until she is off of that shit. Now she's whining about how is she supposed to prove it to me. I figure she'll figure that part out.

I just don't know what else to do. I don't want to see her throw her life away.. I mean she was my best friend in high school.

Anyway, any advice would be great.
